First weekly update

Image
Here we are at last, back to the usual weekly updates. These are normally done on a Sunday, so this has been copied from my last Facebook post… It’s been somewhat manic trying to get things right with formatting, uploading and correcting metadata errors on Amazon. Over a week of frustrations and emails/text chat with kindle publishing and things are finally… done. Dragon King and Olgrun are now both available through Amazon and Kindle. All artwork/thumbnails are now showing and everything looks great. If you decide to look for the books, try use the search term, The Chronicles of Niru, you should be able to find both volumes. Next week I will be back to writing Belus. I’ll need to read what I’ve already written again, to refresh myself first. Hopefully I’ll get one sitting in next week after I’ve read myself up to speed. After that it’ll be back to the usual minimum of at least two sittings with a minimum of 500 words each, per week. That’s all for now, normal updates (whatever that

An adventure requires a map

The Chronicles of Niru will be a series of at least 4 novels. As I write this post, the first two books have already been completed. Now I’m busy writing the third story, and as with any story set in a strange world it is the use of a map that enables the reader to be drawn deeper into the adventure. With each novel I have been adding more detail; like a fog of war that lifts as new characters and places are brought to the fore. In your darkest hour, when all hope is lost, may the dragon shield spell protect you… In this world it is the tree dwarf and the elves, the forest dwellers and the giants that fight against the evil that spreads across the land…

Welcome to the blog

Now that I have Dragon King and Olgrun for sale on Amazon and Kindle I thought it was time to get a blog underway.  At the moment I’m writing Belus and I have enjoyed writing a weekly update on my relevant Facebook page. However, I thought a dedicated blog would be a far more elegant solution. Follow along for weekly updates, news and information. To find my books search for The Chronicles of Niru via Amazon or Kindle.  You can also find me on  Facebook  or Twitter @chronicleofniru 😃
